It's as simple as plug and play! — no additional settings required.
On the gimbals, the USB-C plugs into the RSS Camera Control Port located next to the Tilt Motor.
On the DJI Focus Pro Grip, the USB-C plugs into the RSS Camera Control Port located above the power button.

Remote run/stop is also possible when you combine the DJI R Focus Wheel and the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver (switch to CAN on RX and Focus Wheel). Works with these controllers:
- DJI Master Wheels
- DJI Force Pro
- DJI Ronin 2 Remote Controller (joystick)
or
- via SBUS: Futaba or similar, when you combine the DJI R Focus Wheel (switch to SBUS) Set Channel 5 on your controller to a Sprung Switch like SH, and set subtrims range of that channel to 0/100 and 140/155
