VOLTAGE

The compatible cameras above require high-voltage to operate, which means it's not possible to power these cameras from the regulated 14.4V Lemo output on the Ronin 2 gimbal cage.

For example ALEXA 35 & 265 require 20.5V to 33.6V.

Operating the Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras in the 24V to 34V range is ideal as the higher voltage reduces thermal losses allowing for high frame rate recording and powering multiple accessories from the camera.

When running URSA Cine cameras with 12V to 18V power supplies or batteries, frame rates above 60 frames per second will not be available and powering accessories via the RS and EXT outputs is not possible.

LENGTH

We believe 40-inch is the optimal length in order to avoid coiling but at the same time provides slack.

For custom cable lengths, please add details to the Order Notes in the cart.

Keep in mind, rigging with this cable tethers a non-moving part to a moving part of the gimbal. Meaning you won't have unlimited pan.

This cable is made with premium TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) coated 6-core wire.

TPU maintains flexibility while being waterproof and resistant to abrasion, making it an excellent choice for use on set!

Operators can stand on it, while it maintains high amp delivery, and coils up like a dream.
