The rod mounts are spaced 80mm apart — centre to centre. Designed to take 15mm carbon, titanium, or steel rods. The 80mm spacing helps create a 'flat' camera package. More on that below.

60mm vs 80mm Spacing
The 60mm standard that's been around for decades does provide correct lens height — the downside, the rod clamps and FIZ motors can clash with the gimbal cage. Preventing you from sliding the camera package further back and perfecting the balance point!
