The wires exit the D-Tap connector in the correct direction to ensure this cable doesn’t interfere with the other MōVI Pro 12V AUX D-Tap output.
We believe 12-inch is the optimal cable length in order to avoid coiling and snags around the gimbal cage.
ADVICE FOR ALEXA MINI LF + CFORCE
If you’re running an ALEXA Mini LF in combination with ARRI cforce or cforce mini motors from the LBUS port, we highly recommend our Power Expansion Pack running off the TB50 Battery Plate with Lemo output, connected with the 3-Pin to ALEXA Mini + Mini LF Right Angle Cable. This feeds the camera with 20-25V with hot swappable power up to 200W, so even the most demanding camera builds will be reliable on set.
This solution mitigates the chance of overdrawing the MōVI Pro 12-14V CAM port which is limited to 6 amps. Side benefit is you can then use that CAM D-TAP port for other accessories like a Teradek transmitter.
