This low profile adapter allows you to mount our award winning Gimbal Mate to the following Cinema EOS cameras:

  • Canon C500 Mark II

Gimbal Mate is lightweight, reversible, and features a unique dual dovetail — MōVI Pro on inside and Ronin 2 on the outside. It's the core accessory to unlock our ecosystem and Quick Mode Change workflow!

An added benefit — this adapter raises the C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II body inline with the ARRI ALEXA Mini and Mini LF lens height.

Unfortunately Canon changed their camera body thread spacing over the years. This means older models are not compatible with our adapter:

  • Canon C100 Mark I + Mark II
  • Canon C300 Mark I + Mark II
  • Canon C500 Mark I
  • Canon C700

Two ¼”-20 x ½" countersunk screws mount the adapter plate to the camera. We include four in the box — two to use and two spare.

Use four M4 x 10mm socket head cap screws to mount Gimbal Mate to the adapter plate.

CNC machined from high-grade aluminium and hard anodised black.

Designed and manufactured in Tasmania, Australia.
